Service Description
A day rod exclusive fly fishing for one or two anglers during the height of the trout season when you'll find the peak runs of sea trout and/or the best of the fly life. Fishing is in line with our standard terms and conditions Two trout may be kept by each guest Unlimited Catch and Release £150 for a single angler to fish £270 for two to share the beat.

FISHERY RULES TROUT RODS 1. Fishing may not commence before 8.00 a.m. and shall cease at midnight. Anglers may fish for sea trout between dusk and midnight. Any angler wishing to fish after dark must contact the keeper in advance as there are additional safety measures to discuss and must either have a guide or be fishing as a pair. There is a maximum of two rods permitted on the beat. 2. Methods of Fishing: Daytime: Upstream dry fly and upstream natural nymph. Maximum size of hook permitted - size 12. (Barbless hooks to be used when releasing fish). Between dusk and midnight you may fish downstream with surface/skated flies for Sea Trout. 3. Wading is not permitted. 4. No fish to be killed except stocked brown trout unless expressly authorized by the keeper 5. Limits: Stocked trout may be killed according to the limit on your booking, please note rainbow trout do not count towards this limit 6. Records: All catches must be recorded on the day and reported by paper or electronic catch return, If the trout caught has a tag, please record the tag details and whether the fish was kept or released. GENERAL a) No wading allowed. b) Environment Agency Byelaws to be strictly observed at all times. c) All rods and their guests must hold a current Environment Agency rod license. d) Dogs are not permitted e) The Company cannot be held responsible for any fishing tackle or other property left at the fishery. Cars, with their contents, taken on the fishery are entirely at owners’ risk and responsibility. f) All beat holders and guests enter upon the river banks, staging, sluices, bridges, roadways, buildings and all parts of the property of the Company and fishery entirely at their own risk. Gates on the fishery should be left open or closed/locked as found. g) Weed cutting may take place during the set weed cutting dates (a copy of which is available on request). h) The Riparian Owner will not be held responsible, and in line with general practice, cannot give refunds for fishing for any matters affecting the fishing for circumstances entirely beyond its control including being spoilt by inclement weather or poor water conditions. Rods are responsible for showing these rules to their guests. In the event that any rod or guest of a rod breaks these rules they will be asked to leave without refund. Bookings may be cancelled or amended up to 28 days prior to booking date, after this you will be liable for the full booking cost unless we successfully re let the date.
